Who this policy covers

Eventlifly provides software that venues use to manage event enquiries, proposals and bookings. This policy explains how we handle personal data for two groups: venue teams who use Eventlifly (our customers), and guests who contact a venue through an Eventlifly booking page, proposal or payment link.

For guest data, the venue is the controller and Eventlifly processes that data on the venue's behalf. Questions about how a venue uses your details should go to that venue directly.

What we collect

Account data: name, email address and password (stored as a secure hash) for people who sign in to Eventlifly.

Booking data: details guests submit to a venue — name, contact details, event date, guest numbers, preferences, messages, signatures and payment status.

Usage data: basic technical information such as IP address and browser type, used to keep the service secure and working.

Card details are entered on our payment provider's secure pages (Stripe) and are never stored by Eventlifly.

How we use it

To provide the service: delivering enquiries, proposals, emails and payment links between guests and venues.

To keep Eventlifly secure, prevent abuse and fix problems.

To bill venues for their subscription. We do not sell personal data, and we don't use guest data for our own marketing.

Sharing

We use carefully selected service providers to run Eventlifly — for example hosting, email delivery, payment processing and, where a venue enables it, AI-assisted drafting. They may only process data to provide their service to us.

Retention and your rights

Venues control how long their booking data is kept and can delete contacts and events at any time. Account data is kept while an account is active.

You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data. Guests should contact the venue; venue users can contact us through the Book a demo page or from inside the app.

Changes

We'll update this page if our practices change and, for significant changes, let customers know in the app.
